Philosophy
The Faith Friends Preschool and
Learning Center provides a Christian atmosphere to facilitate
children's social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth. We
respect each child as an individual, growing and developing in
their own way. We encourage creativity, independent choice,
responsibility, self-control, and the development of a positive
self-image.
Religion and cultural values shall
be shared with children through stories, songs and simple prayer.
All children are accepted without regard to race, color, religion,
sex or national origin.
Objectives
- To provide care and love for
children away from their parents, giving primary attention to
their well-being and safety.
- To develop children's
independence.
- To foster children's sharing
skills and interdependence with others.
- To provide a positive creative
and learning environment where children can reach their
fullest potential.
- To help children adjust to
adults other than parents and children of their own age.
