Community Blood Donor
Program
Mission:
To
provide advertising and recruit donors and volunteers for the
blood bank program, plus scheduling volunteers to prepare cookies
and/or food trays for those participating in the blood donation.
Needs: Volunteers
(medical)
who would like to assist in the medical tasks related to the blood
donations are needed.
Volunteers
(non-medical)
who would like to assist in the organizational and service portion
of the blood donation are also needed.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
We are supporting the Aultman Hospital
Community Blood Program to ensure a safe and reliable local blood
supply is available at all times and to all people. We work in
conjunction with other local churches.
HOW ARE WE DOING IT?
We recruit many healthy donors bi-monthly through the following
means:

Faith Notes to all church members
- Monthly
Bloodmobile Calendar
- Informative posters & sign-up
sheets
- Posting names of our own blood
donors
- Picture collage of our
own blood drive
- Word of mouth concerning the ease and satisfaction
of giving blood
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

We are pursuing this project to reach
out to all people in our community as well as in our Faith Church
Family.

We help to give the Gift of Life to
those less fortunate and in need as Christ calls us to do.

We reach out to other people by
supporting the blood drives of other churches in our community as
well as our own
