Mission: To support the Canton Calvary Mission in the
after school tutoring programs, summer cultural programs,
food assistance to needy families, Wednesday lunches,
sponsoring of the Saturday night meal and other aid to
those who live in the economically depressed Gibbs area of
Canton, Ohio.
Needs:
Volunteers
as tutors for reading and mathematics, plus carpenters,
electricians, and plumbers for repair of the facilities,
plus persons to help with the Wednesday lunches and other
food related tasks are needed.
Donations
of
non-perishable food can be made to the box marked “Calvary
Mission Food Pantry” in the Gallery. A different food is
specified each month, but any item is welcomed including
those that cannot be bought with food stamps.
