Aloha—a Hawaiian luau was enjoyed by Second Wind on June 8th.
Good fellowship, fun, games and music were enjoyed by everyone.
This all happens because of great planning by Vicki Yoder. She
spends much time scheduling and organizing for Second Wind events.
We invite all to come in the fall and see what Vicki has planned for
next year. Thank you Vicki, for all your time and efforts.
Thank you also to Jake and Lynda Lebold, John and Kathy Buchanan
for being faithful help in the Cookery for Second Wind.
A hot lunch was served to 80 guests following the memorial
service for Derwood Marang. Thanks to all who provided salads and
desserts.
Forty-five graduates and parents were served brunch on May 30.
Thanks to Sara Scheffler for her tasty stratas, complimented with
hash browns, fruit and coffee cakes made in the Cookery.
Looking for a summer side dish to complete your meal? Here is the
perfect one that gives great flavor and crispiness. It was submitted
by Kay Blohm.
