Cookery
The Cookery wants to thank everyone who has helped
the last month with events served by the Cookery.
February 11 was the Tuscarawas District Leadership
Event; February 14 was Second Wind; February 16 was UMW Spiritual
Growth Brunch and February 19 was the New Member reception.
Thank you all for your continued help and dedicated
work.
If you are looking for dishes left in the Cookery,
they can be found on the table in the gallery.
Our recipe of the month is very simple but so
good—especially with sandwiches.

Recipe of the Month
Dill Pickles
46 oz jar whole Kosher dill pickles
Pour brine off pickles, remove pickles from jar. Cut
into 1/2 “ slices and put back in jar.
Add to jar: 1 med onion, sliced
1 tsp celery seed
Heat: 1 1/3 cups sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
Pour over all. Turn jar a few times for a week. Serve
— delicious!
