Glory in the morning! Yes, Dr. Morrison, it is the best time of
day. Spring is somewhat the same when everything is waking up,
flowers are poking their heads out of the ground and the rhubarb is
showing their heads.
On April 13, Second Wind enjoyed lunch and learned about Dueber
Hampton watches and clocks by Bob Shuster.
Audrey Morrison, Emma McKenzie and Helen Candea decorated the
tables and served the lunch for Second Wind. Thank you, girls, for
your dedication and interesting decorations, very creative.
Thank you Jan Heighway and the Saturday morning prayer group for
serving a light lunch following the memorial service for Diane
Cardarella.
With spring bursting forth it brings seasonal foods like the old
fashioned rhubarb that is showing up in our gardens. These rhubarb
muffins will make a nice addition to any brunch. Enjoy!
