The Cookery
The days are getting shorter and that means that fall is just
ahead. This brings many activities to "The Cookery" including Second
Wind, conference luncheons and brunches plus outside the church
activities such as DAR. The aroma coming from the kitchen will just
make your mouth water! Look in the next issue of Faith Notes for a
special Thanksgiving meal being planned.
Thanks again for all of the wonderful folks who love to work and
volunteer in the kitchen.

Our Recipe of
the Month
BBQ HOT DOGS
1/2 c. water
2 T. butter or margarine
1 onion, diced
2 T. brown sugar
2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1 c. ketchup
1 pkg. hot dogs (precooked)
In a saucepan, combine water, butter, onion, brown sugar, vinegar,
mustard and ketchup. Simmer for 30 minutes. Place the precooked hot
dogs in 8x8 inch baking dish and pour the sauce over them. Bake at
350 for approximately 35-40 minutes.
