Welcoming the Stranger Lunch at St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church - Second Friday of each month at 12:00 pm. Coordinator: Cindy Wilcox.
Welcoming the Stranger meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 1:15 pm at Faith UMC in room 5.
The group meets for lunch at St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church on the second Friday of each month at 12:00pm.
This group seeks to explore ways to respond to Jesus' command to welcome the stranger in our midst. Through study, prayer, program development, and service projects we strive to understand and welcome, advocate for, and assist migrants, immigrants, and refugees in our community, our nation, and our world. We offer studies to help us all overcome our fears, so we can more fully embrace others who are different from us.
You are welcome to join us!
